I seem to remember someone telling me, many years ago when I was a little girl, that it is fine to make mistakes: without mistakes you stand no chance of learning anything in life; mistakes are events which bring knowledge and experience. My mistakes seem to be over things which would be obvious to a five year old, at least that’s the feeling I have at times. However I have another full day ahead of me, visiting my new workplace and learning a little about the system Martin uses to keep his life in control. When I come back this afternoon I shall recount the events from yesterday and explain a little bit about the photographs I uploaded to my Facebook album. In the meantime a quotation from Emerson which helps me look forward when thoughts of the previous days mistakes plague me:
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.
Love & Kisses, Viki.
