It’s a Crime.

What have you got on your computer? A few photographs of the family or, perhaps, something a little bit stronger? Before you go travelling with your favorite laptop, perhaps you ought to check out a few of the new laws being enacted around the world. Some of those graphics which you thought interesting, especially if you’re a comics or Hentai fan, might just bring you more trouble than you imagined.

The problem for Sweden and the Philippines is that these images represent children and, while they may only be cartoon characters, the new laws class them as child pornography.

So, think before you click on Save.

Love & Kisses, Viki.

I find those images objectionable. I’ve always felt that they portray young girls in too sexual a manner. And if you go to an anime convention you’ll find girls dressed like these characters. They’re portraying themselves, not as costumed characters but as pubescent sex objects. I would never accept a nude photo from an under-age girl and I resent them helping to sell anime by showing school girls panties. The images and words we present have an effect on the world. We can’t shrug off responsibility for what we invade young people’s consciousness with.
