The more I surf through the Internet, the more I am astonished at the wealth of information – and misinformation – that is available. At times it is hard to separate what is factual from that which people have merely invented or which, through some aberration or other, they wish to be seen as factual. Recently I’ve been looking at a few of the so-called Conspiracy Theories, and am absolutely amazed at the things people spend their time on. It seems to me that some can produce a mass of content from the smallest piece of news, and twist it completely out of proportion. I often wonder what the point is. Still, it is interesting and, I don’t doubt, a few of these strange theories might possibly contain a grain or two of truth.

Love & Kisses, Viki.

    A very good read on conspiracy theories: “The Illuminatus! Trilogy” by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson (the latter went on to write enlightening fiction about freemasonry). The trilogy should be read keeping in mind that its co-authors were:

    1- very probably high on LSD or at the very least cannabis throughout the writing process;

    2- despite a large dose of historical facts, the novels are intended to pull legs.
