It’s true. When I first signed on to Facebook and created my profile, uploaded countless photographs and found my many, many friends (and a few fans) it was fun. I enjoyed communicating with so many people from around the world – even some of the Immoral Conversations were fun! – and playing with the apps I’d allowed through.
Now, having had to re-create my profile after it was deleted for no reason – yes, Facebook failed to reply to my request for a reason, but I hadn’t expected any more than that from the faceless administrators – and literally start from scratch, the fun has completely gone. I miss the friends that I had there, and can’t find many of them again, and I miss all the comments on my photographs, links and status updates. I miss them, and I miss the fun that was Facebook, which I will probably never be able to find again.
I guess I’ll remain one of the hundreds of millions of people with an account, with a profile, but also be one of those who just lets it lie there, hardly ever used.
Love & Kisses, Viki.
