Others may not hold the same opinion, and they are more than welcome to voice it with a few examples of why they disagree, but I don’t find tan lines sexy at all.
There is something about a smooth, continual suntan which makes me want to explore it even more, to move seamlessly from one area to another. These sudden expanses of white, where the sun has never shone, tend to act as if they are a barrier, a borderline between what is readily available – even naked – and what remains off limits.
In some ways, I see these expanses of white flesh as something unripe, unready for anyone elses attentions. They remain cold compared to the warmth of the suntanned areas.
Strangely enough, a woman without a tan doesn’t have the same effect on me; the skin is smooth and without dividing lines and I feel at ease.
But tan lines tell me something about a person too; how much they are prepared to reveal for one thing, and perhaps a little bit about how prudish they are, how accepting of their own body, their own appearance.
Naturally bathing in the nude isn’t for everyone, and I’m not someone who recommends a suntanning studio. It’s just a personal thing, nothing more.
Love & Kisses, Viki.
