After I had finished my post yesterday I got to wondering about the number of photographs that I include in my posts. It’s true that I publish quite a few large selections along a similar theme, and that there is practically no end to the selection of suitable offerings available on the Internet. However, I was wondering whether I am overdoing it a little bit?
I mean, there are enough sites which include just photographs, in a long stream, with practically no text, just to show off beautiful and sexy women – or men now and then – often without a set theme or real purpose. I know, these sites are plastered with advertising and are there for the owners to make money through your views, clicks and so on. That isn’t what I am here for – no adverts is my policy, and I am to stick to that – I am just a simple young woman with certain tastes which I care to share with you, my often anonymous readers, whenever the opportunity arises.
Perhaps, for my future posts, I will limit myself a little bit. Rather than having a whole mess of photographs in one heap, I shall only post a few and concentrate a little bit more on the words which accompany. Really this Blog is more about my writing, more about me sharing my experiences than overwhelming you with images. For that I’ve still got my Tumblr Blog – with well over ten thousand different images .
No need to panic, though! For those of you who enjoy the photographs – as much as I do – there will still be a good selection on offer, just not as many as before.
There is another thing I have to consider, something which isn’t quite as obvious to the casual visitor as it is to me. This Blog has now crossed the 2 GB threshold, which is not a problem itself, and it does cost me a few cents each day to keep it online, to keep it active for you. Well, to keep it active for me too, but what is a Blog without visitors?
So that’s what we’re looking at in the future, good quality photographs I have found and which inspire me, but not quite so many in each post. Perhaps that way I’ll be blessed with a few more comments too…
Love & Kisses, Viki.
