There was a time, I am told, when it was considered sexy, when a wisp of smoke coming out of a beautiful mouth was thought to be something attractive, daring, invoked fantasies. It showed that a woman was free from the norms of life, that she went her own way, that she didn’t stick with the standards of society.
For some people that may still be the case but more, I suspect, from a distance. Things which look alluring can often be disappointing when you get close up, when you are faced with them directly and for me, in this case, smoking is one of them.
It looks fine in a photograph, where the photographer is good, but in Real Life?
Someone else said, and it has been copied and quoted many, many times, that kissing a smoker is like kissing an ashtray.
Looks aren’t everything.
Love & Kisses, Viki.
