Having given you ten things about bus travel yesterday, another sprang into my mind this afternoon which I thought, just for fun, I might share with you all.
People who get into the bus, wrapped up to the nines in their thick coats and scarves, woolly hats and gloves, none of which they remove, complaining about the cold and then, as soon as the sun starts shining through the bus windows, they draw the curtains closed.
Now, this may be strange on one or two levels, I am one of those people who takes my coat off when I get into a warm bus so that, when I finally leave, I can wrap myself up against the cold once more. No, what is probably strange is the idea of drawing the curtains in a bus: on several of the buses that I ride each college day there are curtains, not on all, just on some of the older models. We certainly ride in style!
Love & Kisses, Viki.
