I’m not the sort of person who goes around correcting everyone else over their spelling or anything else, I make enough mistakes myself not to want anyone pulling me up and talking about glass houses and stones. But I really did have to throw this one out at the world:
The Queen formally opens Enniskillen’s new hospital and unveils a plaque.Something she’s done countless times in 60 years. #royal
 Peter Hunt (@BBCPeterHunt) June 26, 2012
and even though there is no way someone from the BBC (see below) will reply, I did ask him:
@BBCPeterHunt How many hospitals does Enniskillen have then?
 Viktoria Michaelis (@VikiMichaelis) June 26, 2012
because that’s the way I read it. The Queen has opened countless hospitals in Enniskillen over the sixty years of her reign.
No way I’d get a reply is a little bit harsh and doesn’t reflect the truth when generalizing. I had a short (very short!) exchange with Jon Snow the other day over the Saudi Arabian Olympic team. There is a difference here though: Jon Snow is the reporter who, when he heard that a woman had completed the London Marathon using robotic legs – she lost the use of her own in an accident – refused a video link to interview her, he got off his ass and went out there personally.
Edit:, Far too harsh, and too quick. Peter Hunt did indeed reply…
Love & Kisses, Viki.
