Search Terms

Posted by Viktoria Michaelis on October 29, 2012 in Internet |

Just out of pure interest, I did a quick check to see which search terms are the most popular to find my blog since installing JetPack – a WordPress application which tracks visitors, page views, search terms and clicks back out again. I’ve had this addition on my blog for about five months and it has recorded nearly eighty-five thousand page views in that time. Not all of them come from search engines – Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, EzineArticles and StumbleUpon feature in there too – but those which do tend to use these terms the most.

No surprises there, I guess although… I still wonder why people insist on putting the complete and correct URL for this site into a search engine instead of directly into their browser.

Sadly I can’t see how many search terms have been used in all – aside from undefined search terms which total more that one thousand six hundred – which would have interested me too.

Not that I want to fall into the boobies niche…

And the most popular pages and posts visited. The main landing page is my front page, again, no surprise. The second most popular post is the one I wrote on underage models. Interesting nonetheless.

Oh, and spam, can’t forget spam. The wonderful total of nearly ten thousand have been blocked so far. That is a rough ratio of 15% real comments – approved comments – to the rest.

Love & Kisses, Viki
