Yes, there is a problem with the transfer to the new server, but it isn’t the fault of Strato, rather the software transfer. You may well have seen it in some of the articles when I transferred servers within 1blu and you’ll probably see the same problem now with the new transfer. Some of the characters used don’t translate.
As far as I can see it is only those articles and posts which I’ve published on EzineArticles or elsewhere which have then also appeared here. The apostrophe isn’t recognized. The hyphen isn’t recognized. The cedilla isn’t recognized (sorry François!). They come out as a jumble of rubbish characters which tend to ruin simple possessive words or sub-sentences within hyphens.
Now, to go through the entire blog – this is post number 1137 – and correct is obviously going to be too much even for my brilliant self. I’ve done the most recent posts, but I’m not going any further back. When I see something, I will correct it.
I hope you will all forgive me for this small incident of positive laziness, but I’m sure you all understand it too.
Love & Kisses, Viki.
