What Follows … Preparation
You’ll probably notice that my posts over the next few days are mainly going to be new articles on Social Media and similar subjects rather than my usual – also highly popular – offerings of opinion, wonderful photographs to make your jaw drop and silly little Twitter things. There is a very good reason for this. I am preparing for the big move, again.
That means a lot of what you read now and over the next few days will have been written and queued for publishing, rather than being real time. The reason for this is fairly simple and I am sure you will understand my need to do this. I am moving to a new server at a new ISP during this time – I hope – and I don’t want to have too many problems. All that I queue will be logged for publication in the data bank regardless of where the blog happens to be at any one time. They will be published on time and allow me a short break to ensure everything with the move goes smoothly.
That doesn’t mean there might not be problems, but I don’t think it will be quite as serious as my move earlier in the year. Just, it is a completely new ISP and I have no experience with them whatsoever, so I’m playing safe.
When the move actually occurs I will probably be in college and not sitting at my computer. I won’t be able to react immediately, correct mistakes or problems as they arise, ensure that everything is working exactly as it should. But, if all goes well, you won’t notice the move at all. That, at least, is what I am hoping.
So, a little bit of my more serious writings during the transition phase and then, back to normal. Fingers crossed.
Love & Kisses, Viki.

Troublesome but much needed. Best of luck.

More troublesome than some would believe. Having prepared everything I am now trying to dump the site – a mere 250MB – down to my computer before moving the data bank across. I can, naturally, get no decent connection to the backend at all which makes a download rather wearisome to say the least.
