It has been another wonderful day on the reading front, even though I must admit it is a little bit of a cheat on my part. Two small parcels arrived through the post today, but ones which I sent to myself. I don’t want anyone thinking that I only get presents sent to me and don’t go out and get a few things for myself!
I decided to raid the little sum of money I have earned writing and give myself a treat in the form of three new books, ordered over the weekend and delivered safe and sound today. My library has now grown with copies of Lorenzo Valla’s Dialecticae disputationes (Dialectical Disputations in two volumes, translated by Brian P. Copenhaver and Lodi Nauta) and Keizan’s Denkōroku (The Record of Transmitting the Light, translated by Francis Dojun Cook).
Perhaps, looking at a few of the titles I’ve received and read recently, it is time for a little brain candy too…
Love & Kisses, Viki.
