Did you know that, in the words of Tom Chiarella, a Real Man:
knows how to sneak a look at cleavage and doesn’t care if he gets busted once in a while
or that he
loves the human body, the revelation of nakedness. He loves the sight of the pale breast, the physics of the human skeleton, the alternating current of the flesh. He is thrilled by the snatch, by the wrist, the sight of a bare shoulder. He likes the crease of a bent knee. When his woman bends to pick up her underwear, he feels that thrum that only a man can feel.
Well, you do now and, if you happen across this article in Esquire – even though it is one of the older ones, it is still a goodie – you’ll find out many more things which make a man a man, or whatever.
That doesn’t mean you have to agree with everything Tom says in his article, although there are some who seem to take it to heart, and I am sure you can come up with a few new ideas too.
And what about women? Is there something that says How To Be A Woman? Well yes, yes there is and it’s by Caitlin Moran. Perhaps we ought to read the two side by side and see if, perhaps, there are one or two similarities which would, given time, make life so much easier.
Love & Kisses, Viki.
