I know that the link I am about to give is to an old post, but I think it is relevant even now, a good year later. It contains a few things about religion – I should say the Christian religion – which are absolutely everyday for Christians and which do not even bring a second thought.
Read through the list here and think about reach entry for yourself and then, if possible, for someone who is not a Christian but who lives, works and participates in the same society as you do every single day of their lives.
It is easy to take what we have for granted, until we go somewhere else and experience a different society, different religious beliefs, different legal and social systems.
Perhaps we should all remember this when we are out and about in ‘our’ world, dealing with other people. And also the fact that we are all, and I mean all, foreigners everywhere else.
Love & Kisses, Viki.
