I’ve been waiting for a mail for a while, nothing special just a small something which would change many things, help me to get further, and make the publishing of my small books and papers so much easier. I’ve probably mentioned it a few times, almost to the point of being boring I daresay, but it was important to me. And now I know why nothing has come through, why I have been waiting so long. We all make mistakes!

Some of us can admit our mistakes, some need to hide them or pass their mistakes on to others rather than accepting the blame. In this case, it is clearly my mistake. I cannot pass it on to anyone else because there is no one else who could have done what needed to be done, who could have changed anything.
To put it simply: I forgot to create and configure an e-mail address.
Now, this may seem like a small thing to most people, you just go ahead and create it now and the problem is gone. Well, not quite. The address was the one I gave for my ISBN list to be sent to, so you can see how important it is. And, checking with the agency that issues ISBNs, the list was sent out on December 10. That is good, because it means that my application has been approved, and bad because the address didn’t exist and I couldn’t receive them.
So now the address exists and is waiting for a resend, which will follow but not just yet. The person responsible for sending out the lists is on holiday – and I cannot say that she should break her holiday just to send me what she had already sent because I didn’t do my work properly – instead I shall have to be patient a little bit longer, and then do some really hard and fast work at the end of the year when she gets back again.
Such a simple little thing, but it makes big waves!
Love & Kisses, Viki.
