It would be easy enough for me to sit down, when I have a spare few hours, and simply write one post after another, backdating them for the days that I have missed out this month. I could come up with all sorts of tales, comments, opinions, general stuff to fill the white spaces, and hardly anyone would notice. Or, I could have written ten or twenty posts in advance and simply added them to the publishing queue. There were times when I did this, times when I thought it important to ensure that a new post came out on my blog every single day of the year, no matter what.

I have, however, made myself an advance New Year’s Resolution – even though I don’t believe in them, and probably wouldn’t be able to keep one for more than a few minutes – and that is: to get out and experience rather than chain myself to a computer. Of course I want to write here, and keep everyone up to date on life and stuff, but, at the same time, if I spend all my time writing about my experiences, how will I have the time to experience?
The chances are that I will still write pretty much every day, but just don’t be surprised if there is a break of a day or two now and then. I’ll always be back, but a little breathing space, a little going out and doing time, is also a good thing.
Love & Kisses, Viki.
