Wales: I Accept The Blame

Posted by Viktoria Michaelis on July 6, 2016 in Immoral Conversations |

Those who know me, know that I do not do television. I do not own a television, but I do, to my shame, have a television app on my phone. Sometimes I sneak a little peak to see if there is anything exciting happening and, as I am sure you can guess, I am usually disappointed and wonder why I bothered, why I even keep the app on my phone.

This evening was one of those times when I chanced a peak, and it gave me a good reason why I shouldn’t do such things. I have probably turned an entire nation against me forever.

I tuned in to the football match between Wales and Portugal. Not for long, just a few minutes. In fact, it was from the forty-eighth minute through to the fifty-first or so. For anyone who was watching the match, these times will tell the whole story. Prior to and following these times there were no goals in the match. None whatsoever. The two goals Portugal scored came within these few minutes, so just as I tuned in, and than out again.

So to all the people in Wales who were watching the match and hoping for a different end score: I’m sorry. I won’t do it again.

Love & Kisses, Viki.
